Poetry is intelligent, imaginative, and intuitive. She doesn't go out that much. However, if she does, she always brings a quill/pencil and paper with her in case she got bored. She only has a few friends, and one of them is Sonnet. They both read books if they got tired of writing, or challenge each other with deeper vocabularies. 

Poetry's talent (you guess it) is to write poems. She usually makes love poems. Despite her greatness when it comes to writing love poetry, she doesn't have a coltfriend yet. Other ponies (including Sonnet) said Poetry's asexual. Yet it's not yet confirmed.
